Terms of Service

By using Annie Bot ("Annie"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using Annie immediately.

These Terms apply to all users, including server administrators who add Annie to their servers.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Annie, in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service. By using Annie, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You may use Annie for its intended features — economy, music, moderation, social, leveling, and gaming. You agree to use Annie only in ways that comply with:

• These Terms of Service
• Discord's Terms of Service
• Discord's Community Guidelines
• All applicable laws and regulations

You must not use Annie to:

• Spam, harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Send unsolicited, harmful, or harassing messages via the staff /dm feature
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended behavior for personal gain
• Manipulate economy systems through automation, macros, or bots
• Circumvent bans, blacklists, or other restrictions on your account
• Conduct any illegal activity
• Impersonate other users, bots, or administrators

Violation of these prohibitions may result in a permanent ban from Annie without warning.

Annie is an evolving service. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue any feature, command, or limit at any time, with or without notice.

• Don't abuse the bot — including spamming commands, scripting or automating interactions, or attempting to overload, rate-limit, or disrupt the service.
• Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or self-host Annie, or access it other than through Discord and our official dashboard.
• We may apply rate limits, cooldowns, or per-server limits, and may restrict or remove Annie from any server at our discretion.

All in-bot currency (aura), items, and virtual assets have no real-world monetary value. We do not offer refunds for virtual items and reserve the right to adjust, reset, or remove any economy data at any time for balancing, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.

Annie's in-bot “Exchange” is a game in which you trade simulated assets using aura, a free virtual currency with no real-world value. Some of those assets are named after and follow the real market prices of cryptocurrencies (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and others), sourced from third-party providers like CoinGecko.

• Entertainment, not finance. The Exchange is a game. No real money or cryptocurrency is ever bought, sold, deposited, withdrawn, transferred, or held. Aura cannot be purchased, redeemed, or cashed out, and has no monetary value.
• Not financial advice. Displayed prices, charts, and movements are for entertainment only and are not financial, investment, or trading advice, nor an endorsement of any cryptocurrency or asset. Do your own research before making any real-world financial decision.
• Not a financial service. Annie is not a broker, exchange, wallet, or money-services business and does not facilitate any real cryptocurrency or securities transactions.
• Third-party data. Prices are provided by third-party APIs and may be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. We make no warranty as to their accuracy and are not liable for any decision made in reliance on them.

Annie's /dm feature lets authorized staff (with Manage Messages) send official messages to users through the bot. It is restricted to staff and not available to regular users. By using it, staff acknowledge:

• All DMs sent through Annie are logged and may be reviewed by the operator
• It must only be used for legitimate server-related communication
• It must not be used to harass, threaten, or spam users
• Misuse results in an immediate and permanent blacklist
• We are not responsible for the content staff send through this feature
• Server administrators are responsible for their staff's use of it

Server administrators who use Annie's moderation tools (warn, ban, mute, kick, etc.) are responsible for using them appropriately and in accordance with their server rules and applicable law. Annie is a tool — responsibility for moderation decisions rests with the administrators.

Annie's /record feature lets authorized staff record a server's voice channel. It is opt-in per server and restricted to staff with Manage Server or a role the server designates. By using it, staff and server administrators acknowledge:

• A visible notice is posted in the channel whenever a recording starts
• Server administrators are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required by their members' local laws — some jurisdictions require the consent of every participant before recording
• It must only be used for legitimate server purposes, never to harass, deceive, or unlawfully surveil members
• Any member may exclude themselves at any time with /record optout
• Recordings are automatically deleted after the server's retention window (24 hours by default)
• We are not responsible for how staff use this feature; responsibility rests with the server's administrators
• Misuse may result in removal of access to the feature or to the bot

You retain all rights to content you create or submit through Annie. By using Annie's features, you grant us a license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable law and does not infringe third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

If you believe content stored or displayed through Annie infringes your intellectual-property rights or otherwise violates these Terms or the law, contact us through our support server with details identifying the content and your rights. We will review and remove infringing or violating content where appropriate.

All content, features, and functionality of Annie are owned by Annie, its licensors, or other providers, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Annie for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited without written permission.

Annie is an independent, third-party application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or officially connected to Discord Inc. "Discord" and related marks are trademarks of Discord Inc. Your use of Discord itself is governed by Discord's own Terms of Service.

Annie offers optional paid Premium plans (a recurring Monthly plan and a one-time Lifetime plan) that unlock higher limits and extra perks. Prices are shown in US dollars and paid in cryptocurrency through a third-party payment processor.

• Final & non-refundable. Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible. All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law, and crypto transactions cannot be charged back.
• One-time, not auto-renewing. The Monthly plan grants Premium for 30 days and does not renew automatically — to keep it, you purchase again. The Lifetime plan grants Premium permanently for a single one-time payment.
• Send the exact amount. You must send exactly the displayed crypto amount to the correct address. Sending too little, too much, late, or to the wrong address may delay, fail, or forfeit your order, and we cannot guarantee recovery of mis-sent funds.
• Approximate conversions. Crypto amounts are based on the exchange rate at the time of payment; the USD figure is approximate.
• Changes. We may change prices, plans, or perks at any time. Periods you have already paid for are honored.
• Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.

Premium access is personal, non-transferable, and may be revoked without refund if these Terms are violated.

Annie relies on third-party services — including Discord and our cryptocurrency payment processor — each governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third parties, and outages or changes on their side may affect Annie. Your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

We strive to keep Annie available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Annie may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.

We reserve the right to ban any user or remove Annie from any server at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

You may stop using Annie at any time, and server administrators may remove Annie from their server at any time.

Annie is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Annie will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Annie, including loss of data, loss of virtual items, or service interruptions.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Annie and its operators, developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of Annie, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court, waiving the right to jury trial and class action.

For EU residents, these Terms comply with the laws of the relevant member state, and you retain the right to pursue claims in your local courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

• Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and us regarding Annie.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service.
• Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including payments, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification — continue to apply after you stop using Annie.
• Feedback. Any suggestions or feedback you provide may be used by us freely, without obligation or compensation to you.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Annie after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be announced in our support server.
